The Parish Council have again this year voted to have and pay for the Sunday Garden waste collection service offered by Uttlesford District Council. The service will start on Sunday 2nd March and every Sunday until 30th November. The time is the same as last year, 09.45-10.45 and the place is also the same, the cul-de-sac past the school towards the entrance to Mount Fields and Ploughmans Way.

The developers had their application refused by Uttlesford District Council in September 2024 but have now submitted a slightly amended application direct to the Planning Inspectorate. This by-passes Uttlesford District Council but does not mean that the Parish Council and residents cannot have their say.
