The developers had their application refused by Uttlesford District Council in September 2024 but have now submitted a slightly amended application direct to the Planning Inspectorate. This by-passes Uttlesford District Council but does not mean that the Parish Council and residents cannot have their say. If you commented on the previous application and you want to review those comments, you can find them on the Uttlesford District Council Planning portal using application number UTT/23/2496/FUL you can see the full list of documents including comments and the reasons for refusal.

Having regard to Article 19 of the Town and Country Planning (Section 62A Applications) (Procedure and Consequential Amendments) Order 2013, you are required to provide a substantive response to this consultation by 20 March 2025. All representations made in connection with the development proposal will be made publicly available on the website, including the name of the individual author or organisation. This application will be determined by a person appointed by the Secretary of State. Shortly after the close of the consultation period the Planning Inspectorate will consider if a hearing is necessary.
